Monday Night Racing

Registration closes at 7:30 pm

To confirm that the mountain is open and the race program will begin,
call Mt. Southington after 2.00 pm that day at
860-628-0954 - ext. 243

Click on "Racing" in the small "Snow & News" menu box for the lastest racing conditions.

The race captains decided NOT to mandate helmets for Monday Night racing
(although they highly recommend it - especially when they are available to all
CSC members for $15) and note that the state competitions (Downhill and GS) will however require them.

Race fees have been reduced, because the council will forego its $1 surcharge
so that racers may be charged $25 per night instead of the usual $26.

Rules of Monday Night Racing

Rules of Monday Night Racing: Eight races and three (3) make updates complete the series

Rules of Monday Night Racing: Eight races and three (3) make updates complete the series. Red and blue courses will be set as a single gate course (similar to NASTAR) on alternate sides of the hill each week so that racers may compete on both sides of the hill during the season. If a race is cancelled, the course schedule remains in effect.

Results for each race will be posted in the lounge after the event. Final results will be posted in the Ready Room and mailed to team captains the day after the race. All revisions and corrections must be done in writing at a meeting of the team captains. Protests must be made to the Council Race Chair the night of the event. A captains meeting will immediately be called to review any incidents.
